What This Artist Does To Penguins Proves You Can’t Trust Your Own Eyes. February 13, 2018

There have been quite a few dynamic art installations that react to the person observing them: Music that seems to move around the room, lights that change upon entrance, and even objects that appear to mimic the exact actions of the people standing in front of them. That being said, there’s definitely not been anything like this done before. It’s called Penguins Mirror, and it’s a huge group of moving penguins that are just about a foot tall, but all of them coordinate to act as a “mirror” when a person stands in front of it. The piece was created by Daniel Rozin and it’s on display in New York, but you can see it for yourself (as well as the building process of this unique installation) below.
