If you’re unfamiliar with the penny arcade, here’s how it works: You drop a coin into a machine, and it basically comes to life right before your eyes. Popularized in the early 1900s, these machines were a source of entertainment for adults and children alike — think of it as an old-timey slot machine that could do any number of tricks.
