[Photo Shanghai][1] just wrapped up its annual international fair this past weekend. The event is on its second year and although it may be a new exhibit, over 500 pieces of artwork were for sale during the three day-event. The exhibition had 50 international galleries from 20 countries showcasing famous photographers. It was also a great opportunity for up-and-coming Chinese artists to gain exposure. The event was held at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre in Shanghai, China. It was organized by the [World Photography Organization][2]. The art fair had curated museum-style works as well as images fused together with other mediums. Scott Gray, CEO of WPO, says the success of the exhibit is simple, “people enjoy photography; they digest it daily. You don’t need a course in art history to understand it.” Here are some of the featured works at the event. [1]: http://www.photoshanghai.org/ [2]: http://www.worldphoto.org/
