In the late 70’s Chris Porsz was a paramedic in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire but he had a hobby of walking around the city taking photos at random. He became known as the “paramedic paparazzo” as he took random photos of whatever he thought was a memorable moment. Nearly forty years later he decided to try and track down some of the subjects of his early photos and recreate them. He had 134 of them that he wanted to do once again and when he was done he released a book of the photos called “[Reunions][1].” It’s believed to be the only book of its kind to ever be released. It wasn’t easy to track everyone down and it took a lot of time and work. You can see here several of the great moments that were recaptured, making the time and effort well worth it. He used newspapers and Facebook to publish the old photos in hopes of finding the subjects of his original pictures. Since some of the people didn’t even know they were being photographed at the time it is amazing that he was so successful in finding most of them. Here are a few of the recreated photos that appear in the book. [1]: http://www.chrisporsz.com/the-books.html
