Even if you are going to be away from your car for a few minutes, it’s always best to lock it. Money left in the front, expensive sunglasses, and even clothes are enough of a reason for thieves to break-in and take your valuables. The reality is that if something is worth to you, it will be also be of importance to someone else. Hunter Jobbins learned this the hard way when he left his car unlocked for 15 minutes in front of his dorm in Kansas State University. The thief, however, left a heartfelt note to Jobbins apologizing for his crime and the reason behind it.Jobbins found a note from the culprit. The chocolate criminal left a note explaining his actions.

“Left my car for maybe 15 minutes in front of the dorms and I come back to this. College, man,” he posted alongside the note.

“Who steals someones Kit Kat?! WHO DOES THAT?! Shoot us a DM and we’ll replace it for you,” Kit Kat posted on Twitter. Four days later, the company took to Twitter again. “Keep your Kit Kat, thief. @jabbins now has ALL the candy #KitKatThief,” the company posted.

To ensure he doesn’t go into a diabetic shock, Jobbins handed out the wafer chocolate bars to fellow students on campus. The criminal has not been caught yet.
