2015 has been a good year for music. It might be argued that Adele’s “Hello” ballad takes the prize for the best song of the year. But if you were given the list of the top 50 songs of the year you would not have the time to listen to all of them and remember which one is your favorite. Leave it to music genius DJ Earworm to put together the most popular songs of 2015 based on Billboard’s 100 chart. Earworm is a talented mashup artist based in San Francisco. For his latest work United State of Pop 2015 (50 Shades of Pop) it’s a literal walk through the year so far. Despite knowing the lyrics by heart, you will have a hard time distinguishing where song one ends and another begins. Hits like Demi Lovato’s “Cool For The Summer,” to Ed Sheeran, “Thinking Outloud” or Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance” may not seem like the best combination but when put together, they work in perfect harmony.
