In cities that experience freezing temperatures, potholes are just a fact of life. The cycle of freezing and thawing combined with traffic cause stress in the pavement and eventually a pothole formation occurs. Photographers [Davide Luciano](http://claudiaficca.com/) and [Claudia Ficca](http://claudiaficca.com/) started the project “My Potholes” to expose the pothole problem in their hometown. They realized they couldn’t do much to change the situation, so they changed their perception. These humorous photos were shot in the streets of New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, and Toronto. Hopefully they will help you give you something to laugh about next time you run over one.
