*”Happiness is a warm puppy.” — Charles M. Schulz* According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), 37-47% of all household in the U.S. have a dog. If you have a puppy, had a puppy, or are thinking of getting one, we hope you spend National Puppy Day (March 23) creating many fun memories. While these furry creatures can be a hassle, the color they provide in each of our lives is priceless. They demand food and attention when we are at our busiest, but are also curious and excited when we forget how to be these things ourselves. They wake us up in the morning, but we probably wouldn’t get any exercise without them. At the end of the day, the tradeoff is priceless. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make fun of them.
