It’s not very often that a YouTube video stops me in my tracks, but [Medhat Mamdouh’s][1] beatbox recorder is the kind of thing that makes me pause what I’m doing and share immediately. Maybe it’s because my only previous experience with recorders was listening to screeching renditions of “Hot Cross Buns,” played by unenthusiastic students in elementary school gymnasiums.
