Generally, we don’t like to think that the materials our buildings are made out of would move under any circumstances. As cool as a shapeshifting office building might be, it seems like less of a great idea once you have to actually be *inside* that building, right? But what if you could have a building that changed shape and color without affecting its structural integrity? Designer Chao Chen has introduced the concept for **a building facade that shapeshifts when water touches it.** It would be added as a final layer to the outside of a building, showing off colors and a variety of shapes on a rainy day. It’s an interesting idea, and it looks awesome in motion. Check out the video below.
