Pavel Sokov is a traditional artist who one day, went from an office job, to painting a portrait for Time magazine in less than a year. Pavel, who was born in Russia in 1990, is currently based in Montreal Canada, and studied at Watts Atelier of the Arts in Encinitas, California. One amazing thing about this artist is his incredible devotion to hard work, practice, and sacrifice. “”” My entire brain is rewired completely and I am an entirely new person. I have developed understandings that would probably have eluded me my whole life if it wasn’t for this. Life now feels like an adventure with a mission, and not the stale boring routine it was before. I determine the outcomes in my life now, and that is terribly exciting. “”” Below you will find some of his illustrations, pet portraits, human portraits, and charcoal drawings. In addition to traditional media, Pavel also creates a lot of digital paintings as well.
