If you grew up in the 90s, then you should be familiar with Melissa Joan Hart. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, then this one certainly will: *Sabrina The Teenage Witch*. You might recall seeing her both on the big screen and on your square television set as she starred in both a *Sabrina The Teenage Witch* movie and TV show. You might even remember her from an earlier TV show on Nickelodeon: *Clarissa Explains It All*. Regardless of what you remember her from, you’ve probably noticed that she basically went MIA after *Sabrina The Teenage Witch* ended. Well, the lovely witch is finally all grown up and she’s doing better than ever.Melissa Joan Hart was arguably the queen of teenagers in the 90’s while she starred in both popular TV shows “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Sabrina The Teenage Witch.”
She was originally inspired by the ending monologue from a children’s television show, “Romper Room.”
Melissa was able to land her first appearance in the commercial for the bathtub toy, Splashy.
Melissa was actually repeating her role as Sabrina as the movie eventually became a hit TV show with the same name, setting and characters.
“Sabrina The Teenage Witch” not only ran for seven years on ABC, it received two Emmy nominations.
While Sabrina The Teenage Witch was on air, Melissa starred in a few movies including Can’t Hardly Wait in 1998 and Drive Me Crazy in 1999. In addition, she guest-starred on other TV shows and directed a few TV episodes.
She actually played the character of “Sabrina” in 6 different tv show series, including Clueless.
Melissa almost gained the lead role in the Scream movies but lost the role to Neve Campbell.
Now two decades later, Melissa is looking better than ever all while being a mom to three kids! Just from looking at her body, however, you can’t even tell.
Ever since 2003, Melissa has been happily married to actor Mark Wilkerson.
Melissa had her first child, Mason Walter in 2006, followed by Braydon in 2008, and Tucker in 2012.
Melissa stated in an interview that her and Mark are teaching their kids the importance of faith.
It’s no surprise that Melissa looks so great as she’s always made sure to stay in shape and live a healthy lifestyle.
As you can see, she was never afraid to pose in her underwear for photoshoots. With such a sculpted body, why would she?
Here’s one of her in a 1997 issue of Details magazine looking smoking hot.
In it, she discussed what it was like to grow up in the spotlight and revealed stories of drug use and partying in her early 20s.
She partied with Tori Spelling, NSYNC, and Britney Spears. She even helped Spears sneak out once when they were teenagers.
Although the fling never became anything more concrete because Melissa was dating someone else at the time, she has admitted that she regrets not giving Reynolds more of a chance back then.
“Melissa Joan Hart was never a diva. She is a hard-working super smart woman and I adore her. She has a great family and knows what is important in life,” said Beth Broderick, the actress who played Zelda Spellman in Sabrina The Teenage Witch.
However, it does look like she’s one of the Hollywood’s gems that don’t age normally (she looks like she’s still in her early 30s).
She started a fashion line, King of Harts, with her husband Mark that focuses primarily on boys.
As stated on the fashion line’s website, King of Harts actively supports the non-profit organization, Youth Villages.
Her more recent acting gigs include the ABC Family series Melissa & Joey and TV movies like “My Fake Fiance” and “Holiday in Handcuffs. “
The TV show was unfortunately cancelled after its last episode in August 2015. It did, however, win the Favorite Cable TV Comedy award at the 2015 People’s Choice Awards.
She has, after all, been acting since she was 4 years old. No way she plans on slowing down. Who knows what we will see from her next.
