When I was a kid, I’d do just about anything to get the day off from school: I had a stomachache, my head hurt, there was a half-inch of snow on the ground and that was too extreme for my delicate sensibilities. You name the excuse, and I had it — unfortunately, my mom never believed me. This little girl had a genius idea to get her one more week off from school — but the execution of that idea is what ends up getting her caught. Here, she attempts to persuade her parents to keep her home longer with an adorable “letter from the school,” and she even put it in the mailbox.
