The Galápagos sea lions know how to enjoy life. It may be the seemingly super relaxed time they spend in the volcanic archipelagos of the Galápagos Islands. These sea animals swim, fish, and play. These creatures are famous for being social and, at times, very loud. Nonetheless, when the subtropical temps get too hot, these mammals find refuge in a nice shaded area. Award-winning photographer Clark Little came across a group of sea lions in Puerto Ayota in Santa Cruz Island, taking a much-deserved siesta. Little found the sea lions about 10 minutes away from the Charles Darwin Research Station. The marine lions needed no explanation on how to use a lawnchair on the beachfront. The shutterbug took the video of two sea lions having a siesta with their arms wrapped around each other. In my next life, I’m coming back as a sea lion.
