In 2012, [Amanda Chapman][1] knew she had to make her family smile again. Her husband Greg was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma: the photographer and makeup artist wanted to change the conversation from cancer to fun things. That same year in October, Chapman began a series called 31 Days of Halloween where she morphed into different, scary characters everyday. “I started the series to take our minds off of the roller coaster of fear and to lift my family’s spirits.” She has continued the tradition ever since with her creations getting more and more terrifying.
