With the right amount of Photoshopping skills, you can make people believe just about anything. That’s exactly what Zilla van den Born, a Dutch graphic design student, decided to do. For five weeks, van den Born Photoshopped photos of herself to send to her family, making them believe that she was on a whirlwind vacation throughout Southeast Asia. In reality, she never left Amsterdam city limits. Her project was meant to be a prank, but was also intended to show how easily we can distort our lives on social media.
