When photographer and illustrator Blake Morrow found out that his friend Beth Beard was undergoing gastric bypass surgery in the hopes of losing weight, he had an idea that was both big *and* small. Together, Morrow and Beard decided to put together a before-and-after photo project, centered around the pop culture imagery that many people know and love. Morrow photographed Beard before her surgery, and then two years after. **By that time, Beard had lost over 150 pounds.** Morrow then Photoshopped Before Beth and After Beth, creating images of the one-woman team that are entertaining and fun.
