There are times in our lives when we come across a perfect stranger whose stories make you feel as though you’ve known them your whole life. Filmmaker and artist Yann Arthus-Bertrand was once stranded in Mali after a helicopter breakdown. As he waited for the pilot, he listened to a farmer share about his hopes, fears, and only life goal: feeding his children. Arthus-Bertrand was inspired by the man’s unshakeable sense of self-respect despite living so humbly, and set on a quest to explore the following questions: **”What is it that makes us human? Is it that we love, that we fight? That we laugh? Cry? Our curiosity? The quest for discovery?”** Yann Arthus-Bertrand then spent three years collecting the stories of over 2,000 women and men in 60 different countries. Together with the help of cameramen, journalists, and translators, his project came together for the film [HUMAN][1] (2015). The film will be coming to theaters on Christmas Day 2015, but is available for viewing [online][2]. Watch the following clip of this woman as she shares the secrets to happiness.
