When Shannon Goff was growing up in Detroit, she remembers being enamored with her grandfather’s 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V. Now an adult, Goff has channeled her artistry into creating an exact replica of her grandfather’s car — only hers is made entirely out of cardboard. The piece is called “Miles To Empty,” and it’s meant to pay tribute to her grandfather and her hometown of Detroit, which used to produce cars just like this.
