You may have seen this image already, an adorable photo of a sloth clinging to a pole on a highway in Ecuador. Until now, though, you might not know the story behind this delightful image. As sloths are the world’s slowest creatures, it’s understandable that they might have a tough time crossing a busy road. This little guy couldn’t quite make it, and instead clung to a pole for a break. After being alerted to his presence, Ecuadorian transit authorities headed out to save the little guy.
