This Snowed-In Cat Dig’s His Way To Freedom… His Victory Over Winter Is Inspiring.

The other day, I was walking down the street with a friend, and she said “Wow, I just love the snow, it’s so beautiful.” While she was *technically* right, I felt my anger levels rising and had to fight the urge to say “NO, it’s NOT beautiful. In fact, it is the bane of my existence, and every day feels like cold, wet, dirty challenge, and none of my shoes are weather-appropriate.” I know. I’m a real joy to be around during the winter. I have to say though, this cat is an inspiration to me. Against what I believe to be the most unbeatable odds (large quantities of snow), this cat perseveres and keeps his eyes on the prize: That is, escape from the endless isolation of winter. Though the amount of snow that he gets in the house is questionable (I would absolutely not clean that up), the ending is so great that I can forgive him. Way to win the winter for all of us, kitty!
