We have previously [introduced][1] you to 30-year-old Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc and her project, The Atlas of Beauty, in which she captures natural feminine beauty around the world. Noroc has encountered women everywhere from remote communities to New York’s cultural melting pot, and today, we are delighted to update you on her second installation. Equipped with not much more than a backpack and camera, Noroc has traveled to places such as Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Turkey, among many others this time around. Altogether, she has been to more than 60 countries. The images below highlight the women’s natural features, in some cases, cultural dress, and surrounding environments. Although her subjects appear model-like, what sets them apart is that they represent different nationalities and are seen from the perspective of another woman. Noroc has referred to some of her subjects as “stars of the world,” and holds a deep respect for each of them. The result?
