The feelings you experience from receiving a letter from a stranger is always unpredictable. When first seeing a handwritten note on your car’s windshield or home’s door, you either feel anxiety or excitement. Is someone insulting or complimenting you? Did you do something right or did you do something wrong? The 25 notes below left by strangers contain all sorts of emotions, including kindness, frustration/anger, embarrassment and so fourth. Some are really endearing and the rest are just completely hilarious. I think I’ve come to the conclusion that most people are more likely to leave notes for strangers when they’re angry rather than when they’re feeling nice. #18 is extremely sweet but #12 is my favorite.
