When the film *Grease* was released in 1978, it had everyone dancing and singing to its catchy tunes. The love story about a boy and a girl who meet and fall in love during summer vacation and spend the rest of the movie belting out their heartache has become a classic. One of the most iconic scenes in the film is John Travolta’s Danny Zuko, the leader of the greaser gang T-Birds, singing “Summer Nights” to his friends. The cool Danny Zuko and his buds dance on the school’s bleacher stands about his encounter with his crush Olivia Newton-John’s Sandy Olson. And yet if you take the music and singing out of the scene and play it with regular speaking audio, the clip looks and sounds ridiculously hilarious. The dance choreography looks like it belongs in a cartoon rather than this Hollywood hit. Danny Zuko and the T-Birds don’t look dangerously cool anymore.
