We live in an age when our cell phones double as cameras, and when new applications are released every day to enhance and share the unique ways in which we view the world. Despite having this power, many of us do not take full advantage it. Charlie Davoli is one artist with access to the same tools — an iPhone as well as some apps including PsTouch, iDesign, Superimpose, and MatterApp e Mextures — and yet, his gallery of artwork is a world apart. Davoli snaps photos of almost anything he finds interesting, and later draws inspiration from Giorgio de Chirico, Bauhaus’ geometric designs, and pop artists Warhol and Lichenstein to create surreal masterpieces. The photographer says his work is “just like going on a roller-coaster,” but fear not — his soft-colored dreamscapes capture only the most breathtaking and playful parts of the ride. **Take a look at some of his best pieces below:**

Phase in to life: Memories arrested in space 4/4 Here we are. This work is part of a series for a limited edition signed print to be released by the label Loyal To Your Dreams. The set is prefixed ‘Phase in to life’, to describe my imagery moving from the digital realm of Instagram to the physical world. It will feature 4 different images of which only 1 will be printed in the end. The exciting part (I hope!) is that you get to decide which work will be embodied in a 50x50cm high resolution fine print with classy mounting (\o/). We will keep track of likes, comments, and a final vote on the closing post after all the works have been published. The one that will receive the biggest appreciation will be released by Loyal To Your Dreams and available from their site: www.loyaltoyourdreams.com. | | [ • utopia of harmony • ] | | Very proud to introduce you this collab with Michele Mariano (@mic75mariano) a talented photographer that I surprisingly discovered coming from my same hoods. I am totally in love with his oneiric works, especially in this shot featuring @marikaplerario as the most perfect underwater model.
