Having a sibling is one topsy-turvy ride. On one hand, you hate sharing your stuff with them, but on the other, they’re the rock that keeps you steady during difficult times. Granted, the arguing between two siblings can be annoying, even though everyone else finds it entertaining. But very few people realize or appreciate the depth of the bond siblings share. But what happens when both of them are in danger at the same time? Well, let’s just say that the situation can be heartwarming. The life journey for these kittens, Banes and Ines, had a rather bumpy start. They had no one but each other, and this was the only thing that made the two hopeful of a better future, assuming they survived the odds.

When they were found by the rescuers, they were taken off the street and immediately given another chance at a happy life.

In fact, they were petrified with fear, which is understandable under the circumstances. They were also very thin, and infested with fleas on the outside and parasites on the inside.

Founded in 2015, Chatons Orphelins Montreal has worked hard towards the care of abandoned cats. After sterilizing the cats, they find responsible and caring families to adopt them. The kittens were certainly no exception to this process. They were given immediate medical attention, and they soon showed remarkable improvement in their health.

Although their early beginnings on Earth had been rough, the kitties definitely appreciated the welcome change that came with a stable and loving environment.

It was evident from the start that the kittens relied on each other for emotional support and just couldn’t stand being away from each other for even a minute. So, it was decided that the two would be adopted as a pair only and not as individual cats.

They finally found their permanent home where they could grow up and spend their lives together with a family that would give them everything they had been deprived of when they were first born.
