Well, as it turns out, she was based off a real person: Vicki Dougan was a 1950’s siren that was just as sexy (and just as controversial) as Jessica Rabbit, only in real life. Pop culture history have often surmised that Rabbit was based off of Veronica Lake, but in actuality, it was more than likely Vicki Dougan. Known for her curvaceous figure and her affinity for backless gowns, the resemblance between Dougan and Rabbit is pretty undeniable.
