It might not be exactly the same as cruising through outer space on the Millenium Falcon, but this new Star Wars-themed airplane will still give plans plenty of reasons to rejoice. As with many over-the-top themed conveyances, this idea originated in Japan and just made its maiden voiyage over Haneda, Tokyo. The plane is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and regular flights on the themed aircraft will begin soon. It’s one of three planes that will attempt to recreate the Star Wars universe for passengers in the sky, and the photos from the first flight are simply delightful. See more of the story below.
