Scientists have long suspected that the family of birds including ravens, crows and magpies called corvids are are highly intelligent. Dr. Alex Taylor studies wild birds which he releases after 3 months of research. This makes me think differently about crows, almost scary in a way, when I see hundreds of them at a time.

The oldest recorded wild American Crow was 16 years old. A captive crow that died in New York lived to be 59 years old.
