The Old English Sheepdog is a breed that has been put on the endangered dog list by the UK Kennel Club. Fewer puppies are being registered each year – generally, people’s interests are leaning toward smaller, “cuter” breeds. **Thankfully, Cees Bol and Hanneke van de Watering, are bucking the trend.** Sophie (age 4) and her sister Sarah (age 2) are two of Cees’ Old English Sheepdogs. Cees, also known as [dewollewei][1] on Flickr, has been chronicling the exploits of her dogs for several years. She has been able to catch Sarah and Sophie playing cards, reading books, playing dress up and frolicking in the beautiful countryside of the Netherlands. Cees has been overwhelmed with the response to her pictures. Luckily for us, that means she frequently updates her account with more pictures of Sarah and Sophie as they mug for the camera.
