They Asked People ‘What Would You Tax,’ The Results Are Hilariously Fair. October 13, 2017

In India, Ireland, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom, today is a very important day: It’s Budget Day, otherwise known as the day the government presents a budget to the legislature for approval. To celebrate, one Dublin-based radio station asked listeners to present their own budget. In other words, they asked listeners to share what they would tax on social media, using the hashtag #ThingsIdTax for everyone to read. The things people would add a tax on are hilarious, and frankly, all of these Twitter users should have a seat in Parliament. Check out their intended taxables below.
