Kids often have mixed opinions when mom makes them dress up for photos — but this adorable four-month-old baby seems to be okay with it. Then again, she has no idea: She’s fast asleep, blissfully unaware that her mom is making Internet magic with her portraits. Photographer and new mom Laura Izumikawa has nap time has turned into a fun creative outlet, taking absolutely hilarious photos of her daughter, Joey Marie Choi, dressed up as all your favorite characters. The outfits are a nod to pop culture icons like Pikachu, Beyonce, Run DMC, and more — and she also dresses Joey up in a variety of professions, like chefs and tech boys and even an In-and-Out employee. “I would end up just staring at her face all day and night because I was just so in love,” she said. “Because Joey slept so deeply, I thought it’d be fun adding little props on her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents. It was a way to memorialize her growth and little milestones,” Izumikawa explained in an interview.
