Xavier Casalta might only be 23 years old but the artist is an expert in his medium. The French illustrator uses the stippling method of inking tiny dots to meticulously create detailed flowers, fruits, and an array of vegetation. Casalta’s latest illustration *Autumn* took him 370 hours to complete. The piece is part of a series representing the four seasons. It’s hard to believe Casalta discovered stippling by chance when he was learning typography and was looking for a new way to draw letters rather than just coloring them in black.
