Jane Labowitch may be 24 years old but she’s a pro when it comes to playing with an Etch A Sketch. The Horner Park, Chicago, resident is able to create intricate and elaborate drawings using the little red tablet. Labowitch has re-created the 1884 masterpiece *A Sunday on La Grande Jatte* by Georges Seurat. The feat of twisting and turning the knobs on the toy took eight and a half hours to complete, broken up over four sittings at the Art Institute of Chicago. The original hangs in this gallery. Labowitch, who also calls herself Princess Etch A Sketch, has been playing with the toy since she was four. She has taught herself all the secrets like how to cover a mistake and erase a part of the drawing without erasing everything completely.
