Kumbali was the runt of his litter. The tiny cheetah was removed from his mom to be bottle-fed by the staff at the [Metro Richmond Zoo][1] in Virginia. Despite growing strong and healthy, Kumbali, however, does need a companion. At this point he cannot be put back with his siblings and mom as he would be seen as a threat. Instead, his new family member is a canine named Kago. The lab mix is a rescue that is calm and confident, a great balance to Kumbali’s scared and nervous nature.
