Belly buttons are arguably the strangest parts of our bodies (and our bodies are pretty strange overall). Innies, outies, everywhere in between, belly buttons are ostensibly a hole that once connected us to our mothers, nourishing us until we were strong enough to live outside the womb. That being said, it’s no surprise that one this baby finds her belly button, she’s totally freaked out. In the video below, she seems to discover her belly button and realize how odd it is, all in one fell swoop. Her reaction is adorable — even if you feel a little bit bad for her when she can’t seem to swat her belly button away. On some level, we all understand what’s she’s going through.
