Alex Coulson and Sarah Page had the best elopement ever. The couple did not really run away in secret from their families to tie the knot. The Australian duo won a Nordic elopement contest that included a $15,000 wedding package with a photographer, wedding planner, dinner, flowers, and accommodations included. Coulson and Page’s wedding in Lapland, Finland on December 1, 2015 was a magical, winter fairy-tale. Their ceremony took place in a glass teepee at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort with the bride’s wedding dress matching the snowy landscape. It’s not known how the newlyweds’ families feel about not taking part in the celebration, but they may understand when they see this once in a lifetime adventure.
