Andrew and Gabriella Morrison decided they didn’t want their lives to revolve around monthly mortgage payments anymore. They both have a background in construction and spent four months building a tiny house on wheels. It cost them $22,744.06 to build, and a grand total of $33,089.72 including the appliances, cabinetry, furniture, and fixtures. Now they are mortgage-free, and their heating and cooling bill is lower due to being in a smaller space.
