Every once in awhile, we come across the work of an artist that’s so interesting and unique, it simply must be shared as far and wide as possible. The work of Thomas Medicus is unlike anything we’ve seen before — in fact, it’s so unusual that we’re not exactly sure how he even did it. Titled *Emergence Lab*, Medicus’ work is an anamorphic structure that contains six hand painted images, all resting inside a translucent cube. Inside the cube are 216 laser-cut strips that make up the painting, designed and constructed to perfectly align when viewed from each side of the cube. It’s a tough piece to explain: You just have to see it for yourself.
