Maybe he was in the market for an end-of-the-world panic room, or maybe he just wants a cool place to store his wine: Either way, Wayne Martin’s DIY project serves its purpose. Martin began digging a massive hole in his backyard, much to the chagrin of his confused neighbors. Once construction began, though, it was clear that Martin had a much bigger idea in his mind than anyone could have bargained for. In these photos, you see Martin’s DIY project from start to finish, and the final product is absolutely amazing.
