Do you remember the last long flight you took? Odds are, you’d probably rather forget it: Being cramped in close quarters with a bunch of crabby strangers loses its charm after a couple of hours, doesn’t it? Well, this flier decided to pass the time by illustrating his experience, and his work is totally charming. Christoph Niemann recently had a flight from New York to Berlin, with a layover in London. An accomplished illustrator that’s worked for the New York Times, Niemann drew his way through the long flight: babies, snacks, uncomfortable seats, and all. Check out his journey in sketches below. Odds are, you’ll find this 100% relatable — especially if you’d had a turf war over elbow room.
