One of the great things that can happen to an artist is finding a medium that allows for the opportunity to perfect one’s craft. For [Ghidaq al-Nizar][1], his medium became the delicious, hot morning drink that gets him through the day: coffee. The Indonesian painter dips his brushes into his brewed drink to create delicate and intricate paintings. To take his art to another level, al-Nizar does not only rely on a cloth canvas, but also paints on plates, paper, and leaves. The artist ensures no part of the coffee goes to waste; he uses both the java and the ground java beans to complete his work. al-Nizar explains the reason he loves to use coffee over traditional paints is because he has, “tried to paint using other media but I didn’t have any feelings for them. If you can’t feel it, you will leave it.” [1]: https://instagram.com/coffeetopia/
