Studies have found that as we age, our physical and mental capabilities diminish, and we tend to become more depressed and socially isolated. A retirement home in Seattle is trying to change that. The Providence Mount St. Vincent retirement home also houses the Intergenerational Learning Center. There is as much as an 80 year difference in the age of the students, yet they are all learning. Each generation teaching the other what they can, and also practicing their social skills. The youngsters giving purpose and inspiration to the oldsters, and sometimes the oldsters dole out sage advice or pearls of wisdom. These interactions have been documented over this past year and now it is time to edit the film for release.
