Telephone booths were easy to find in the city. All you needed was a quarter and a thorough wipe of the hand piece to make a call. Some payphones even provided a phonebook and a door to give you a little privacy. Now, payphones are a dying breed. For some people, it’s hard to imagine life without a cell phone. There’s a whole new generation that will have no idea what life is like without having access to everything at their fingertips.
