A tiny, little puppy named Toshi had the unfortunate experience of falling into a storm-drain pipe. The pipe was long and too narrow for the dog to be freed quickly. Firefighters in DeKalb County, Georgia took on the task of ensuring the puppy would be safely returned to his human friend, four-year-old Sahri. Sahri anxiously waited while men dug and later, heavy machinery was brought in. After eight grueling hours, Toshi was cold and probably frightened. Despite the harrowing experience, all Sahri wanted Toshi to know was that he was not in trouble.
