Until recently, magpies were often thought of as the mischievous birds who aren’t afraid to steal things right out of people’s hands, heads, or laps. However, recent studies have shown that magpies don’t actually like to steal things – in fact, they’re so afraid of shiny things and movement, they try to avoid them altogether. That being said, there’s not really an explanation for this magpie’s bold actions – unless, of course, he just really wanted to get baked.
