Tommy Kleyn rides his bicycle to work everyday. While he pedals along the river bank, instead of seeing a beautiful landscape in the Netherlands, Kleyn cannot help but see garbage piling up along the water line everywhere. Rather than complain about it, Kleyn decided to wake up 30 minutes earlier everyday and fill up a garbage bag per day. He posted photos of his progress on [Facebook][1], prompting his friends to join in the clean up. Kleyn admits that many bicyclists did stop to congratulate him on the positive work he was doing but did not return or stay to help. The most common discarded items include plastic bottles and disposable lighters. Kleyn hopes to inspire people to fill one bag with litter once a year. He wishes this will start a green movement. This could become a global movement where we all put aside a few moments to beautify our planet. [1]: https://www.facebook.com/tommy.kleyn/photos?pnref=lhc
