The annual ArtPrize competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is divided into two categories; one judged by experts and the second through popular votes. For the first time since its inception in 2009, one winner took both prizes at the 2014 event and it’s no surprise when you see the amazing artwork. The 6½-foot square installation is made from black lacquer wood. Agha took the pattern from the Alhambra fortress in Granada, Spain.
