Spitbank Fort, built in 1861, used to play a vital role in the protection of British waters against the possible invasion from France. In 1982, the fort was sold to a private owner and turned into a luxury hotel. It has 50 rooms, it’s own dance hall, restaurant, and much more. Just check out these awesome photos below.
