Unlikely animal friendships are simply delightful, especially if they’re between a sweet animal and a human being. This Magellanic penguin has made a point to befriend a retired Brazilian bricklayer for the last several years, and they are quite the pair. Perhaps more interesting than their companionship is the story of how the penguin got there in the first place. The video below narrates how this animal (and hundreds of his friends) made their way from Patagonia to a Brazilian fishing village. It’s totally fascinating, and of course, unreasonably cute.
